This HP JD089B compatible module is a high performance and cost-effective small form factor pluggable copper transceiver. It is designed for 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet application. It fully complies with the Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment. The transceiver is programmed and tested to be compatible with HP networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters. Hence it is an ideal equivalent to JD089B HP X120 1G SFP RJ45 T Copper transceiver but with much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible solution for system integrator, distributors and end users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling. The product supports 1000Mbps data rate up to 100 meters reach over unshielded twisted-pair category 5 cables.
