This versatile optical drive can be used in the Ultrabay Slim media bay found in the ThinkPad T40/R50 Series notebooks and the X4 UltraBase Dock. In addition, it can be used in ThinkPad notebooks and IBM Docking Stations that have an Ultrabay Plus or Ultrabay 2000 media bay by adding the optional ThinkPad Slim Drive Adapter for Ultrabay 2000.
