It shares the power load with the standard power supplies so that if one component were to fail, the other could take-over fully without interruption. This IBM optional feature is designed as Customer Carry-in Exchange/Repair (CCE/CCR); however; it becomes On-Site Repair (IOR) when installed in an IBM Netfinity or PC Server with an IOR warranty classification. Optional features initially installed with an IBM Netfinity server carry the same warranty as the system. If installed after the initial system installation, you carry the balance of the system warranty or the optional feature warranty, whichever is greater.
