Designed for medium-sized businesses, such as medical offices, cafés, restaurants, and boutique hotels, the aruba Instant On AP12 Indoor Access Point supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and provides up to 1300 Mb/s on the 5 GHz frequency band. It also supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and provides up to 300 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz frequency band. Equipped with down-tilt, omni-directional internal antennas, this dual-band access point features a Gigabit Ethernet port that supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), ideal for transmitting both data and power over a single cable. There is also a USB host interface for future use. Smart Mesh technology makes it easy to expand the network into hard-to-wire areas.

Multi-user MIMO technology allows the ceiling-mountable access point to handle multiple simultaneous data streams. An integrated Bluetooth Low Energy radio allows for location-based and indoor wayfaring applications. With the mobile app or the cloud portal, you can easily manage your Wi-Fi as well as create separate guest and employee networks. Use the included clips to mount the access point to the ceiling rails or to a solid surface, like a wall or ceiling.
